Monohydrated citric acid that removes limescale from bathroom and kitchen surfaces such as tiles, taps, screens and toilets. Ideal for descaling and descaling household appliances such as washing machines, dishwashers, kettles, teapots and coffee makers.
Thanks to its acidity, one of its most ‘magical’ applications is its ability to remove rust from metal elements and stains on grills and griddles, restoring them to their original condition.
It is not suitable for human consumption. It is also not recommended to be used on acid-sensitive surfaces or mixed with other cleaning products.

Citric acid is an organic acid present in most fruits, especially citrus fruits such as lemon, orange and tangerine, and also in some cereals.
It is a good preservative and a natural antioxidant added industrially as a food additive in the processing and packaging of many foods.
At home, it is a very versatile traditional remedy.

Remove rust from metal objects.
Mix half a litre of water with two tablespoons of citric acid in a spray dispenser, then spray the object before scrubbing it with a brush. Dry it well and it will soon be like new again. You can also use citric acid to polish metals (but never aluminium).
Clean burnt pans and utensils.
Boil half a litre of water mixed with two tablespoons of citric acid in the pan to be cleaned and then let it soak in. Soon, all traces of burn marks will be gone.
Descaling household appliances (washing machines, dishwashers, kettles, teapots and coffee makers).

Remove limescale from tiles, taps, bathroom screens and toilets.
Mix 150 grams of citric acid with one litre of very hot water and spray it over tiled surfaces, whether in the kitchen or bathroom. Then rinse the surface thoroughly and wipe with a cloth to make sure no traces of the acid remain. The same mixture can be used to descale bathroom screens and toilets.
Cleaning and disinfecting toilets
Sprinkle citric acid over the toilet and let it soak for 20 minutes. Then clean with a toilet brush and rinse with water. Citric acid is a very effective descaler for removing limescale that builds up in toilets due to constant contact with water.
Remove tea and coffee stains from cups
Put them in a washing-up bowl, add 1 to 2 tablespoons of citric acid and cover with boiling water. Let it soak for 30 minutes. Rinse well.
Cleaning carpet
Mix 100 grams of citric acid with a litre of water in a spray dispenser and spray on the stain. Then rub the stain with a cloth and rinse.
o remove limescale and the traces of detergents in your washing machine, we recommend adding one litre of water mixed with 150 grams (10 tablespoons) of citric acid in the detergent dispenser and then, while the washing machine is empty, run a wash programme at the maximum temperature.
To descale your dishwasher, pour 150 grams of citric acid (10 tablespoons) into the dishwasher. Then run the quick programme and the job is done.
For teapots, coffee makers and kettles.
Fill the coffee maker with hot water and add 1/4 cup of citric acid powder. Leave it for an hour, empty the coffee maker and rinse well.
You can also remove limescale from a kettle by simply adding 1 teaspoon of citric acid to 250 ml of water and leave it overnight.
